The largest size available, the 16 yard skip is perfect for commercial projects, including large-scale refurbishments, refits and clearouts. This skip is not suitable for heavy waste, such as hardcore and soil, but you can add around 16 tonnes of light waste.
Your 16 yard skip is suitable for garden waste, scrap metal, household waste, rubble, paper, wood, general dry waste, plastic, bricks and concrete.
Please note that there are items you are not permitted to put in this skip. These include: hardcore, soil, perishable waste, large tree trunks, fluorescent light tubes, mattresses, tyres, medical waste, batteries, TV screens, computer monitors, fridges, freezers, paint, liquids, oil, fuel, aerosols, gas canisters, asbestos, hazardous or toxic waste and explosives.

This skip is primarily for bulky light waste in commercial environments. Examples include warehouse clearances, large office refurbishments, bulky packaging disposal and light construction waste.
The cost of a skip depends on the type of waste you want to fill it with. Whether you need metal, mixed waste, plasterboard or more, prices can range from £96 to £240, including VAT. There are also additional fees if you’d like to extend to a 14 day hiring period or add on a permit.
Skip hire is simple. Choose the size you want, the type of waste you want to fill it with, your preferred delivery date and collection date, and you’re good to go! You’ll also have the option to choose a 14 day hiring period (instead of the standard 7 days) and can add a permit to your order.
The standard hiring period for a skip is between one and seven days, but we offer a 14 day hiring period as well. You can extend your hiring period if you need to.
